Amy Farmer is one of those people that God chose to bless us with to make life that much better here in North Louisiana.

Just listen to Amy for a couple minutes and you'll realize just how lucky the students at North Caddo High School are to have her in their lives.

Actually anonymously nominated by a North Caddo Rebel parent, the letter we received made it clear that Amy Farmer was a shoe-in for this week's Caught in the Act Award.

Take a look at the submission letter we got and you'll see why we just had to call her.

Amy is the principals secretary at North Caddo High in Vivian. She does so many good things that we don't have room here to list them. She is there for those kids and even us as parents for any and everything. She currently (on her days off) is helping a child raise money to work at Yellowstone. She last year started a fundraising campaign for a student with cancer. The kids know if they don't have a ride, money for lunch or a ball game...she will give them her own money and if she doesn't have that...they get her own lunch or ticket to the game. We as parents know Ms. Amy can and will do anything we need she loves THOSE KIDS. She also goes above and beyond to have great relationships with the faculty and staff. You can call at any time and Ms. Amy will FIND a way to help you!! She goes above and beyond. She has even recruited her boyfriend Kevin Who has a boat business in Shre veport to pull boats for our cheer and dance teams on many occasions. If our kids are having anything at NC you can see her running all day to prepare. There are no words for how much we love her. ...four final words. We LOVE Ms. Farmer

Amy Farmer, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Amy to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
