Allison Primm Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient

Skylar Primm is pretty sure that if her Mom, Allison Primm, didn't hang the moon, she was hanging with the Good Lord while he hung it.

Even though Skylar is away at college, she thinks so much of her Mom that she took the time to send us an amazing nomination letter and made Allison's selection as this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient such an easy choice.

See, Allison totally understands the value of the role she plays in the lives of the pre-schoolers that she teaches, and she goes above and beyond to make sure their formative education is the best experience ever.

I couldn’t ask for a better role model in my lifetime. As my mom, I get to see the “behind the scenes” of what she puts into what she loves. Allison is a preschool teacher in Caddo parish and goes above and beyond. She is always prepared to put on the craziest outfits to put a smile on her kids face. No matter the occasion she goes out of her way to give her kids the best experience possible. A good example of this is every year for Read Across America, she dresses up differently each day depending on the story. Not only does she dress up, she makes sure the kids have projects that relate to the story. The kids are constantly being sent home with projects that they created. I know these kids take these memories much further than her classroom. As her daughter, I often hear how great of a person she is from EVERYONE who knows her. Her past kids always remember her and still often talk about her even when they are not in her class anymore. Having her as my role model and mom means so much to me. I would be honored to show her how much she means to me and our community.
