Your thoughts likely ran the gamut from the clothes you had, your boyfriend/girlfriend, the car you drove (or didn't) and possibly the daily question to Mom of "What's for supper?"

That's certainly not the case with London Hemingway. Not only did her thoughts extend to those less fortunate than her, she initiated the action to do something about it.

Her nomination letter from her Mom, Tiffany Kenner, explains just how awesome this young lady is and why she was chosen as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

I would like to nominate my 16- year old daughter, London Veda Hemingway, she is a Junior at North Desoto High School in Stonewall, La. She has started a non-profit for high school girls that cannot afford prom expenses to attend their high school prom. The girls get to pick out a free dress that she has collected through donations and purchased through cash donations from her family members. The event is to be held in DeSoto Parish at the LDC Center on March 2nd. I'm super proud of her as well as her community. She is also competing for a national title in the upcoming televised Miss High School America pageant in July, as Miss Pelican State. Thank you!!
