Hey it’s Gary and I’m one of the chosen few to spend most of my life right here in Kiss Country. And I was destined for a life in radio. Born at the old Doctor’s Hospital and delivered by Dr. Flake. You know you’re going into radio when you’re delivered by a Flake. Graduated from Trinity Heights and was asked to not return to college after deciding it was a better idea to go deer hunting than take finals. Haughton is home now with my wife Julie
They want me to tell you fun tidbits. I’m an Air Force brat, so truth be told I’m not really from anywhere, even though claim Haughton. I’m a Virgo and I really do like long walks on the beach. I’m married to the fabulous Keith who is a total keeper since he won’t put up with my crap. I’m also the crazy horse lady on the radio. I have Paisano, a Royal Dutch Warmblood, Under Pressure, my sweet Thoroughbred and Sweetheart my draft cross! I also have two cats (Lortab and Crackhead) and four dogs: Mikey (Dachshund), Bella (Bullmastiff mix), Cam (Cocker Spaniel mix) and Cyrus (Bullmastiff mix)! I’m passionate about rescuing/adopting animals as opposed to purchasing them from breeders
Sam Alex has worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from Chicago, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 75 stations nationwide. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BBQ chicken pizza
Every time he gets in front of the microphone, Bob Kingsley adds to his status as the most listened-to radio voice in country music history. The Host and Executive Producer of Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40, far and away the most successful show of its kind, has been the king of the country countdown for three decades now, and to hear him tell it, the process retains every bit of its magic.
"I love the music and the people who make it," he says, "and I want our listeners to have as much insight into both as it's possible to give them, and to make the experience as enjoyable as possible
Hello Shreveport! I am Jay Whatley. I was born and raised right here in Shreveport/Bossier City. I love all things music, so naturally I had a dream of working in radio. I first started in the radio world in 2008 with Bristol & Sean in the Morning. Since that time, my radio career has given me opportunities to host and be a part of some of the biggest events in our country. When I'm not on the air, you can find me at home with my gorgeous fianceé Kaci and our beautiful daughters, River and Rosie. If
Hey, I’m Krystal! I was born and raised in California but made it to Shreveport/Bossier as fast as I could. If I am not riding shotgun with you on your drive home from work, I’m probably driving around town looking for a delicious mom and pop restaurant. My dog Olive keeps me on my toes, and makes sure I have a mess to clean up every time I get home. How on earth can a ten pound dog get into everything? Please excuse me for lusting after some of your favorite artists, it all started with King George and I still can’t shake my infatuation with a man singing with a guitar
Hey guys I'm Carter! I was born and raised in Raleigh North Carolina. I started in radio as an intern on the Bob and the Showgram show where I did everything from getting coffee to getting shocked by cattle prods to getting arrested in a gorilla costume for a show stunt I then moved up to the weekend overnight position before moving to Texas for my first full time gig! I'm honored to say that I have the most beautiful little girl named Rhylee in the world with the most amazing wife, Drew, I could ever ask for
