Jennifer Sword – This Week’s Caught in the Act Award Recipient

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Jennifer Sword is one of those people that make the rest of us strive to be better people.  During the Flood of 2016, she devoted her time, her money and her spirit to so many that truly needed the aid and she did it with no expectations of every being recognized. But, we just couldn't waste a good story and not give her that recognition as this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient!

What makes this even more special is that it was her employees at Red Lobster who nominated Jennifer.  Check out the letter they sent us.

Jennifer sword is the General manager of Red Lobster in Bossier City. She is literally the most generous and loving woman I've ever met. Even though she has her plate full with her kids, her staff, running a restaurant and also going around the region to help other restaurants, she made time during the flood to help out victims. She spent hours on hours in our kitchen cooking food herself for victims of the flood. We had a budget set aside for an employee dinner that we all agreed to use to go towards buying food for them. She hosted a food drive and also a pet food drive. We had so many donations and she delivered them all. She took time away from her family that she already barely gets to see to help out those in need of meals. She roped in a few other restaurants to help with these drives as well as some of our employees. I've worked in a few restaurants and most GMs would ne ver come out of pocket or use the restaurants money towards anything. But Mrs Jen is not that person. She is a person that sees someone in need and does everything in her power to help them. She is a great boss and an even better person. She really deserves this.

Jennifer Sword, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!
