USA Wakeboard Collegiate Nationals On The Red River: For three action packed days, beginning this Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 1, we’ll see the best collegiate wakeboarders in the country compete as college teams and on individual levels. Cross Lake Flotilla: Saturday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm! This year’s theme is “Love the Lake Life” and the event, now in its 23rd year, will again be headquartered at the Lowe-McFarlane American Legion Post at 5315 South Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport. Admission is FREE (more)

Benton Farmers Market: The Sunday-only outdoor market held at 495 Simpson Street in downtown Benton, will open for its inaugural season, 12:30-5 p.m., on Sunday, June 1. (more)
