Toledo Bass Tournament to Benefit Arklatex In Unbelievable Way
November of 2022 will be a month that Daniel and Shelby Vosbury will never be able to forget. It was then that they lost their sweet little four-month old Ryder.
The worst nightmare of any loving parent was now a reality for this DeSoto parish couple.
But these two have taken their grief and used it to give other grieving Arklatex parents a glimmer of positive hope.
With their creation of Ryder's Roses, the Vosburys use their memory of Ryder to provide a rose flower bed for other parents who have endured a similar loss.
And now, in an effort to raise funds to continue Ryder's Roses, they'll put on the first ever "Reelin' For Ryder Bass Tournament" out of the Toledo Bend-North State Park Ramp.
This 2-man team tournament will be held next Saturday, April 27 and the $125 per boat entry fee will include your launch fee, a 3-piece fish plate, and two entries into the door prize raffle. There's also an optional $10 Big Bass Pot.
They will pay out one place for every five entries and there are some fantastic door prizes to be given away.
To pre-register call 318-205-1925 or you can sign up tournament morning, April 27, at North Toledo Bend State Park.
