Young Nolan has a rough ride of late, but a bass tournament scheduled for his benefit could certainly help he and his family focus on his healing.

Nolan was diagnosed with a tumor in his abdomen. Doctors were able to remove half of the tumor but complications and scar tissue led to a bowel obstruction and since December, Nolan has undergone five major surgeries in an attempt to correct his medical issues.

Though he's recovering nicely, he must make frequent visits to New York for ongoing scans and care, and it's created a huge emotional and financial strain on his family.  That's where Katie Gray, Micah Strong, and Daryl and Karen Ballard, feel the bass fishing community of north Louisiana can help out.
