The Tony Chachere Cooking Rig was set up at the Sportsman's Expo a couple weeks ago and we went wild over the unbelievable brisket they served up. It was melt in your mouth good! People were coming back for seconds and thirds! The best news: We have the recipe!

I'm in love with my crock pot. Seriously. I want to write it love notes and give it massage, instead I threw a hunk of raw meat covered in Dr. Pepper in it at 3 am this morning. Say what?! $26 for a hot dog while you enjoy your Texas Rangers baseball this year? Yep, come opening day at Rangers stadium there will be a big ole hot dog on the menu for nearly 30 bucks.

It seems like Youree Drive is blowing up with new eateries: Ghengis Grill, Panda Express, Jersey Mike's, Lenny's Sub Shop--just to name a few! Is there a restaurant that you love and really, really wish they would open up shop here in the Shreveport area? Oh, I have a couple for sure to put on the list!

Okay, I'm trying to not let all the "new baby" warnings freak me out too much. Maybe I should stop reading my daily "What To Expect" emails. Over the past few days I have received two or three emails recommending that I start freezing food now or face imminent starvation once my new baby arrives. That is a comforting thought. . . starving to death while being sleep deprived. I
