Shreveport Farmer’s Market – Tuesday Hours

The Summer season for the Shreveport Farmer's market began this past weekend and if you missed out Saturday, you have another chance during the week to enjoy all the fabulously fresh goodies! Head down to Festival Plaza this afternoon and get your Farmer's Market on! 

Farmer's Market Dates/Times

Saturdays, June 2 - September 1
7 a.m. to Noon
Tuesdays, June 5 - July 17
3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Shreveport Farmers' Market is under the pavilion at Festival Plaza in Downtown Shreveport.

The Farmer's Market is covered and takes place rain or shine. And of course, during the summer, its hot! There are multiple reasons to get to the market early on Saturday: best selection of goods, less of a chance that your face will melt off from the heat. There are fans at the Farmer's Market that help move the thick, sticky summer heat around a bit. By the way, pets are not allowed at the Farmer's Market, so leave the furry family members at home.

If you miss the Saturday hours, you can always brave the heat Tuesday afternoon. The Farmer's Market is open Tuesday 3p-6p.

Parking is available on streets at meters (free on Saturdays), behind Riverview Hall, or on the lower level of Festival Plaza adjacent to SciPort. Handicapped parking is available on Commerce St., or in the Overlook Lot close to the pavilion.
