Playoffs for Northwest Louisiana High School Football: Loads of schools from here in Northwest Louisiana fared well enough in the regular season to make it to the State Playoffs scheduled to begin Friday night. Shreveport Farmers’ Market: Fall crops and plants will be available, as well as meat, cheese, milk, home-made goods, and a market café. The market takes place in Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport from 8:00 a.m. until noon, on Saturdays only, through November 23. (more)
