Top 15 Most Powerful Men in Shreveport Bossier

SHREVEPORT, LA - Before you start scrolling through this list, I am sure I'm missing someone. To that person, I am sorry. Maybe they will make the list next year. Or maybe they fell off of the list. I have been asking lots of local folks about who they think are the most powerful men in the Shreveport Bossier area right now. These 15 names kept popping up.

Some of them are government officials. Some are spiritual leaders. A couple of them are in the business world. This list is a bit flawed because it often spotlights the folks who get all the attention and not the people behind the scenes doing all the day to day work. But these men have gotten to their positions by building coalitions and being good at what they do.

You will probably see one or two of these guys fall off this list after the fall elections, but we will have to wait and see. There are some men who have been on the list in previous years who are not included this time around. That list includes Senator Greg Tarver, Robert Adley, Brian Crawford and James Elrod. Those men still have lots of influence, but not quite as much as they have had in the past.

You might even find one or two on this list you wish you didn't have as much power as they do. I'll let you figure that out.
