A new research piece has revealed just how dangerous living in Arkansas or Louisiana really is.

According to the findings, Arkansas is the most dangerous state in the entire US and it's closely followed by Louisiana.

The storage company, Pink Storage, conducted the study using twenty four key indicators across two main categories relating to the personal and financial safety in each state.

After the research dust had settled, it was determined that life in Arkansas is the most dangerous in the country with Louisiana finishing in second and Texas not terribly far behind, listed as the sixth most dangerous state in the nation.

What Were The Key Indicators Used In This Study?

Along with the numbers of murders, mass shootings and rapes, the study also used more common factors like the number of firefighters, infant mortality, even identity theft.

Pink Storage explains that the data was collected from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, FBI Crime Data Explorer, Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Fire Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Census Bureau, NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Federal Trade Commission.
