Poke Salad Festival Treasure Hunt Begins With First Clue

The 40th annual Poke Salad Festival runs from today (Monday, 5/5/14) through this Saturday, May 10th at the festival grounds in downtown Blanchard, Louisiana.  The carnival rides will begin Thursday, May 8 at 5:00 pm, a karaoke contest Friday evening starting at 4:00 pm and the annual Poke Salad Festival Parade beginning Saturday morning at 10:00 am.

Another big attraction of the festival is the Poke Salad Festival Hunt. The treasure is worth $750 and another $250 if you have a business card from Doug's Paint and Body Shop.

With no need to dig, climb, dismantle, or park dangerously in Caddo Fire District One, find the loot and be done.

After finding the treasure card and acquiring a business card from Doug's Paint and Body Shop, collect you $1,000.00 without any folly.
