Close your eyes for a moment and imagine you have a special needs child. Now imagine the love you would have for someone like Jessy Broughton who has organized a special dance for your child to be treated like royalty with Disney's princes and princesses.

There are parents like that all over our area who have seen Jessy's love for others first hand and any of them can testify that no one is more deserving of this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

We actually learned of Jessy a couple of years ago when we first heard about her "Pokemon For Progress" which is now a huge aid to the Cajun Navy. But we were reminded of how awesome she is when we received this nomination letter from James and Tasha Loftin.

I know Jesse is likely to get upset with me for this. She does not like taking credit for what she does. But this is something the entire area deserves to know about her. Jessy spends her days think about everyone but herself. Her heart lies with those that are less fortunate than most. She heads up a lot of the supply lines from here 2 trouble areas when disaster hits through the Cajun Navy. She organizes truck loads of supplies for those in need in a disaster. She also heads up Pokemon for progress here in our area. And the one that hits closest to me she organizes all of the cosplayers For The Memories in the Moonlight dance at Shriners every year. A ball where children with special needs get treated like total royalty by all of the Disney princesses and princes.

Jessy Broughton, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse and Silver Star Grille have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Jessy to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
