Donna Spiegel Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient

Donna Spiegel might not have known just how much she means to her daughter, Jenny, before this morning, but she certainly does now.

Donna found out just how special Jenny thinks she is for being the rock of her family and for always putting others ahead of herself, and it's Donna's huge heart and giving spirit that made her an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just read what Jenny had to say about her.

I want to tell you about one of the most special people in my life and my best friend, and that is my mom, Donna. She is one of the most helpful, compassionate, and loving people that you could ever meet. Everyone who knows her would agree. She loves her family with her whole heart and would do anything for any of us or any other person that may need help even when she is exhausted herself. Our family has had a rough past few years including the passing of several very dear family members including my amazing uncle Rick and my precious Granddaddy. These losses were and continue to be very hard on her and our entire family. She held herself together enough to be the rock for my dad when my granddaddy passed, and also for my sweet aunt Deb when my uncle passed. She continues to be the rock of the family even though she mourns their loss as well. In addition, there are three of us children with me being the youngest. It has been a hard year for all of us as we have all had to uproot our lives at different times and she was right there by our sides asking how she can help and leading the way while we figured out how to move forward. She never takes time for herself because she devotes her time to her family and others. Anything that she does, she dedicates herself to it and the world absolutely needs more people like her.
