I love, love, love the chicken salad sandwiches at Cush's. Honestly, I've never tried anything else on the menu. Yes, I'm one of those people who finds something they love and rarely deviates. Unfortunately, I've never had room for one of their beautiful, famous cupcakes on my way out the door. You can stroll down the isles of the quaint grocery section as you wait for a table at lunch--there usually is a short wait during lunch--don't worry, a line is a good thing when it comes to where you choose to eat. We have even ordered chicken salad to go on multiple occasions. The Cush's menu is enormous covering salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, poboys, pastas, fish, steaks, and desserts. Some menu highlights: Seafood gumbo, muffulettas, meatball poboys, seafood poboys, catfish dinners. Cush's is open Monday - Saturday 11 am to 7:30 pm
Cush's located at the corner of Ellerbe Road and East Flournoy Lucas Road in Shreveport. 318-795-9006
