DeSoto Sheriff Closes Road After Major 18 Wheeler Accident

The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office has just reported they've had to close Highway 5 at Highway 3015 in Longstreet, Louisiana.
A portion of the roadway could be closed for some time due to two vehicle accident involving two eighteen wheelers.
The Sheriff's Department is reporting that both lanes of Highway 5 will be closed until further notice and the public should plan for necessary detours.
