Shreveport's clean up effort will also begin at 8:00 am tomorrow at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds.

DeSoto Parish has also announced their participation in Louisiana's Love the Boot Week Celebration.

The clean-up event, being organized by Keep DeSoto Beautiful, will be held tomorrow, April 18, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. All those willing to volunteer their time to pick up trash are asked to meet at the David Means 4H Barn where they'll be provided t-shirts, "picker-uppers", trash bags and disposable gloves.

Once everyone has been outfitted, individuals and teams will disperse to begin trash collection and then return to the David Means 4H Barn at 12:00 pm for the Thank You Celebration with free lunch, music and door prizes.

Anyone willing to volunteer for tomorrow's clean-up, just go to KeepDeSotoBeautiful.org and sign up.
