Carrie Underwood Goes Long for ‘Sunday Night Football’ Shoot
Carrie Underwood's long locks are back for a new Sunday Night Football season. The singer posted a selfie to Instagram on Tuesday (June 27), sporting a big smile and cascading blonde hair.
"Shooting the new @snfonnbc open! Lots of fun today! This will be our best one yet! Can't wait for you all to see it," she writes.
Fans seem to love the new extensions, and so does her husband, Mike Fisher. He wrote: "Holy smokes, I’d marry ya" beneath the photo of her updated look.

A pulled-back shot shows Underwood's full outfit for the 2017 football season — a shimmery, glittery, sliced red ensemble:
She has been the face and voice of the Sunday Night Football opening theme since 2013, replacing longtime opener Faith Hill. The theme was redone in 2016 as a renewed version of her hit "Somethin' Bad" with Miranda Lambert. It's not clear what the theme song will sound like when football returns this fall.
Underwood was recently announced as one of eight musicians named to the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s class of 2018. As a result, she'll will soon have a star on Los Angeles’ Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk.
