Caught In The Act - Serena Adcock

According to her daughter, Kelsey Polk, who submitted Serena's nomination letter to us, no matter what, no matter when, whatever someone needs of Serena, she's there with bells on!

And apparently, if it's advice you're searching, she's sure to give it to you as she sees it straight from the heart without pulling any punches.

And it's because of Serena's kind heart and selflessness, that we are proud to crown her this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

My mom Serena is the kind of lady you want in your corner. She is a wife, a mother to 3 girls, a “Sassy” to 1 grandson, and an aunt to a niece she’s claimed as a bonus child. She doesn’t realize how many people she has touched in physical form and/or emotional form. From serving with the church, the weekly care she does to help with her 93 y/o grandfather, the “drop of a hat” moments that she’s there for her grandson… to being the person you call when you need advice, a listening ear, or support. She tells you how things are with zero sugar coating too, that’s for sure. She could easily complain about how much is on her plate, but she doesn’t and instead will tell you that she does it because she loves you. She does all of this while working a full time job at a company she’s been with for 14 years. Most days she wears herself so thin, yet finds enough to keep pouring into others with a smile. I could write much more, but I’ll leave it at she does not go unnoticed and I hope she knows that. We love her!

Serena Adcock, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner.

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Serena to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
