Haydel’s Wounded Warrior Hunt Needs Donations
The Haydel family of Haydel’s Game Calls is doing something really cool for a group of wounded warriors by hosting a special hunt for them. The six wounded warriors will arrive in Kiss Country October 12th and the Haydel family needs our help to make this an excellent and memorable experience for these guests! Let’s show our southern hospitality!
Donations are needed to cover the costs such as camo and deer processing fees. You can donate money at any Barksdale Federal Credit Union to the Wounded Warrior EOD account. If you have any other supplies, food, or items that you would like to donate or gift to these wounded warriors give Kelly Haydel a call at 318-746-3586 extension 13. If you can, give a few dollars, make a care package or just sign a card for these brave wounded warriors. Let’s show them support and love.
Here’s a note from Kelly Haydel:
On October 12th six soldiers from different parts of the country will arrive here in the ArkLaTex to participate in a Wounded Warrior Deer Hunt on the 13th and 14th. We want to provide these soldiers with everything they need to have a fun and successful time as this will be the FIRST time for them to be out of a clinical setting. To make this a success, we are looking to the community for help.
Haydel’s Game Calls has started and account at Barksdale Federal Credit Union to accept donations to cover the cost of the event. The account is called the WOUNDED WARRIOR EOD account. This money will pay for items such as
Pop up blinds
Game processing and shipping (ice chests)
All money left over will go to the National Wounded Warrior Foundaiton
Other items needed for the event are:
Six small personal coolers for in the stand/blind
Six folding chairs
Six back packs
Several other local companies are providing goods and services along with Haydel’s,to make sure this is a success for these Soldiers. We are looking the support of the community to pull this event off. Let’s show our appreciation to these Soliders that have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
