Fish’n For Shriners Bass Tournament Slated For November
Ty Whatley, a senior at Benton High School, has big aspirations for his “Senior Project.” He’s putting on the “Fish’n For Shriners Bass Tournament” with all proceeds being donated to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
The tournament will be held November 7 on the Cypress/Black Bayou lakes with fishing hours between 6:00 am until 2:00 pm and weigh in is set to begin at 3:00 pm at the public boat launch off Parks Road. Entry fee is $75 per team.
There will be a 3 fish limit per team and teams will consist of only 2 anglers.
Payback will be as follows:
- 1st Place – $300
- 2nd Place – $150
- 3rd Place – $100
Final registration is November 6 from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm in the Benton Courthouse parking lot.
