In 2023, many people are extremely worried about where the country is headed.  Inflation, former presidential indictments, trans-gender hysteria, flash-mob shoplifting, criminals are victims and victims are criminals... the world has gone insane.  If you don't believe it, think about this... it's so insane, that just this summer, the federal government all but confirmed the existence of UFO's and alien life... and no one cares.

An FBI whistleblower, former military intelligence officer David Grusch, testified before congress confirming the existence of alien life-forms and 'non-human origin technical vehicles'

And nobody cares!

In fact, the federal government is now taking it so seriously, that they've changed the name from UFO to UAP.  According to a recent report from CBS News,

UAP stands for "unidentified anomalous phenomena," a catch-all term to describe objects detected in the air, sea and space that defy easy explanation.

The acronym stood for "unidentified aerial phenomena" until December 2022, when the Pentagon updated its terminology to encompass "submerged and trans-medium objects," as one official put it at the time. NASA and other agencies soon followed suit.

Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) or unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), have been a subject of fascination and intrigue for decades. People from all walks of life have reported sightings of strange and unexplained phenomena in the skies. But have you ever wondered where you're most likely to see a UFO? Based on available data from the National UFO Reporting Center, researchers from CasinoRocket.com identified the states where UFO sightings are most common.

Here are the Top Ten States in UFO Sightings

California (16,084 sightings):

The Golden State takes the top spot with the highest number of UFO sightings. With its vast expanse and diverse population, California offers plenty of opportunities for UFO encounters.

Florida's subtropical climate and extensive coastline make it a UFO hotspot, particularly in the warm, clear skies of the Sunshine State.

Washington (7,145 sightings):

The Pacific Northwest, including Washington, is known for its natural beauty and UFO sightings. The region's remote areas may provide ideal conditions for spotting unidentified aerial phenomena.

Texas (6,107 sightings):

Pennsylvania (4,984 sightings):

Pennsylvania's history of UFO sightings dates back decades, and it continues to be a hub for those in search of extraterrestrial phenomena.

Arizona (4,909 sightings):

With its clear desert skies and numerous military installations, Arizona has its fair share of UFO reports.

Ohio (4,412 sightings):

Ohio's mix of urban and rural areas makes it a prime location for UFO enthusiasts, with sightings reported throughout the state.

Illinois (4,247 sightings):

The Land of Lincoln has a long history of UFO sightings, with reports spanning from Chicago to rural farmlands.

North Carolina (3,630 sightings):

North Carolina's diverse geography, including coastal regions and the Appalachian Mountains, offers a variety of sighting opportunities.

There are Several Factors Contributing to UFO Sightings

Several factors contribute to the prevalence of UFO sightings in these regions. These factors include:

Geography: States with diverse landscapes, such as California and Arizona, often have more sightings due to their varied terrains.

Population Density: Urban areas tend to have more sightings due to higher population density and more potential witnesses.

Climate: Areas with clear skies and mild weather conditions, like Florida, are more likely to experience sightings.

Military Presence: States with military bases, such as Nevada, often have increased UFO sightings near these installations.

Great Halloween Events in Shreveport Bossier

Lots of great Halloween events are coming up. Here's a list of our favorites.

A Look At The Once Popular Shreveport Holidome Completely Dilapidated

The once very popular Shreveport Holiday Inn Holidome turned, Ramada was once the place to be for folks traveling through Shreveport Airport. The great Holidome sat on Financial Plaza in Shreveport for many years, and was considered a great place to spend your layover or delayed flight. Now the property is in total disarray with garbage littering the parking lot, and the (pretty hilarious) sheet-rope hanging out of a broken top-floor window.
