Again this year in an effort to promote natural resources in the area, the Bodcau Soil and Water Conservation District is sponsoring their annual tree seedling sale and they're loaded with real deals.

Orders are being taken right now for several species including bald cypress, sawtooth oak, black walnut, pecan, peppermint crape myrtle, Bradford pear, pink and white flowering dogwood and red maple. A fruit variety of Ayers and Moonglow pears, Belle of Georgia Peach and Santa Rosa Plum are also available. Prices range from $1.50 to $12.50 each.

They'll begin distributing orders Jan. 17-18. Information on planting and caring for the trees will be available when the trees are picked up. Call 965-2185, ext. 3, for more information.
