2016 was an eventful, strange, and sometimes very sad year. Within the confines of the last 365 days, we've lost legends, gained a new president, and saw news stories that we couldn't believe were true both locally and nationally.

It made for a very busy Wildman. During this last year, I wrote and posted around 600 articles to our website!

    11 Things People In Shreveport-Bossier Need To STOP Doing

    This was me complaining about things that some folks in the SBC can't seem to stop doing...but they need to. I don't know if it got any better in 2016...hopefully 2017 will see a new Shreveport-Bossier. Time will tell.

    Body Found In Twelve Mile Bayou; Video On Victim's Facebook

    This was a sad, and very disturbing story. The body of a young man was found in 12 Mile Bayou, and as soon as his name was released, a video from his Facebook page surfaced that seemed to be his last few minutes before he fell to his death.

    What's With The Big Rocks On Clyde Fant?

    I did a lot of history and local interest stories. This is one of my favorites. I had always wanted to know about that rock formation, and this gave me the opportunity to research and pass the knowledge on to you! It's a pretty interesting read.

    Remember When: Hamel's Park

    Nostalgia is a powerful thing, and there is no place that Shreveporters long for more than Hamel's park. Anyone from here who is an adult now grew up at Hamel's. And so many people read this article just to relive some of those moments, and to watch the roller coaster that used to be at Hamel's live on at another amusement park up north. Check it out again!

    Airline High School To "Adopt" Denham Springs High

    During the floods in the Baton Rouge area, one local high school took it upon themselves to help out a devastated high school in Denham Springs. Airline High School did several fundraisers to help get the school back up and running.
