The Barksdale Air Show is Back For 2014

Last year we were all very disappointed that due to budget cuts the annual event was cancelled at Barksdale Air Force base. Not only was the air show cancelled here in Bossier City but it was the show’s were not happening all over the country. We got the very good news this morning courtesy of Major Carroll that the show is on for this year. The Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show is being held the weekend of April 26-27th. The event being held on base will feature not only the big B52 bombers we see here daily but the United States Air Force Thunderbirds will be back, as well as the new F22's (below) which are new to the show this year. The best part….it’s FREE!!!!
