Bossier Sheriff’s Deputies and Posse members had the honor and privilege of escorting the Gold Star Tribute Wall.

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit are investigating the theft of the memorial bell from Shreveport.

On Wednesday (5/18/22) Shreveport Police Department held a memorial ceremony in honor of officers who have died while on duty.

This memorial is a mobile version of the full-size and permanent Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., but is no less moving.

Thanks to a move from the Louisiana State Legislature, his memory will live on with a permanent reminder of his courage, service, and sacrifice

10 years ago tomorrow, millions of Americans will reflect on the tragedy that was 9-11-01 and collectively we will grieve.  At the same time we'll rejoice that our wonderful country not only survived, but has taken steps to reassure its citizens that terrorist behavior will not be tolerated or repeated.
