At the risk of sounding sexist, it's time for Louisiana ladies to wear out their husbands' credit cards while they disappear into the deer woods for the next few months for their annual deer season divorce!

For the kids and Veterans of Area 2 here in Northwest Louisiana, this Saturday, October 12, it's GAME ON!

Today begins a week of  Special Youth Deer Season on Private Land in our area (Area 2). Turns out it's kinda the unofficial/official start to deer season for youth thanks to a new rule pertaining to youth this year in Louisiana. Read on for more information!

" And Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator is making it easy again this year.  He's making the Sheriff’s Training Academy firing range available to the public for sighting in rifles and muzzleloaders absolutely free.
