Bossier City

Bossier City is a city in Bossier Parish in the northwestern region of Louisiana in the United States. The City's official name is the "City of Bossier City". Founded in the 1830s and officially gaining city status in 1907, the original population in the city was around 600 people. However, since then, it has grown by leaps and bounds. In 2019 it had a census-estimated population of 68,159.

In 1907, the City was roughly 1 square mile. Now, the city spans more than 40 square miles. Bossier City is the home of several attractions including Barksdale Air Force Base, the Century Link Center, the Louisiana Boardwalk and several casinos.
