Susan McEachern Is Newest Recipient of Caught in the Act Award

Megan McBroom knows just how good she's got it! She wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but she was blessed with something so much better! A Mom like Susan McEachern. See, Megan, as an adult now, realizes that the real gold in life comes from those times you are helping someone else.

So, because of Susan, Megan has been blessed beyond riches! Susan has dedicated her life to helping others. Especially children. As an advocate for children and a foster mom, Susan's acts of kindness come on a daily basis. When a little one gets sick in the night; Susan is there. When it's time to shop for school supplies, there's Susan. And as these kids grow up, Susan will be the one they credit for their second chance at life.

How do you repay the kindness of someone like Susan? The only way we could think of was to name her this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just take a look at her nomination letter that we received from Megan. Might want to grab some Kleenex first.

My mom is the best person and role model I know! She goes above and beyond for everyone. She is a mother, wife, daughter and friend. She is a foster parent, that has adopted 6 children out of foster care! Totaling 10 children ranging from 2 years to 36 years! She is a CASA and an advocate for children! She has donated vehicles to people in need, she has donated groceries, bought Christmas gifts, household items, and ALWAYS finds a place for you to lay your head if you ever need it! She would literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it with no questions asked! I’m so proud to be her daughter and I’m so proud of the way she cares for not just the children, but everyone in our community! She is always willing to help anyone in need. She is absolutely deserving of this award!

Susan McEachern, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
