However, after the beautiful nomination letter that Mason Maxwell sent us about his Dad, I think we all became fans of Steven.

As Mason wrote about his Dad, Steven is obviously a blessing to everyone who might ever cross his path. And that's what made Steven Maxwell such an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Steven is my dad and honestly is one of the biggest blessings not only to me, but to everyone he encounters across the world. He is a youth pastor at Believer's Worship Center in Benton. He's a man that will talk your ears off, but it's always something worth hearing. He almost will never say no to lending a helping hand and will absolutely never say no to getting all the hugs and kisses from his two grandkids that he can. He serves his community in so many ways, from the church to stopping to help someone who is having car trouble that he's never met. His good deeds go even farther than just local. He currently is resting from a long two weeks in North Carolina helping with hurricane relief. I couldn't be more proud and blessed to call him my father.
