This construction area is located near the intersection with Antoine Blvd, approximately 1.4 miles east of LA 511 (W. 70th Street).

Bert Kouns Lane/Shoulder Closure In Daytime Hours For Approximately 15 Days

Drivers should expect this lane/shoulder closure daily from approximately 6:30 am to 5:00 pm for 15 days, and is necessary to allow a contractor to construct a driveway tie-in for a private development at the referenced location.

As with any project of this type, work will be done "Weather Permitting" so inclement weather could delay, extend, or alter in other ways, the scheduled work day/hours.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Call 511, visit www.511la.org, or download the Louisiana 511 mobile app for additional travel information. Out-of-state travelers may call 1-888-ROAD-511 (1-888-762-3511).
