Stacey Lary Is Latest Caught in the Act Award Recipient

What does it mean to be "Caught in the Act"? Since 2015, Gary & Bristol from Kiss Country 93.7 have been on a mission to find all the people who do good in our community and make it a better place.

It might be someone who regularly spends time reading to kids, or someone who volunteers to help the elderly.  Or they might work with an animal rescue. There's lots of ways to help elevate our community in Shreveport-Bossier and all the surrounding areas...to make our region a better place to be. And, we want to shout out and celebrate all the unsung heroes that help in ways we can't imagine.

Which brings us to this week's winner - Stacey Lary. Stacey was nominated by her Step-Son Jordan. Well, instead of me telling you what makes Stacey special, I'll let Jordan do it:

Where to I even begin, being brief about Stacey is absolutely impossible. Stacey is my step mom and has become one of the best things in my life. She is a mom, step mom, aunt, grandmother, nurse, and many more so you can see she wears many hats. The thing that you don't know is that this woman has been through more than anybody can ever imagine and still wears a smile on her face with the most positive attitude. She is a walking miracle! Her good deeds go beyond more than you might could think. As a nurse she works many hours taking care of many different patients but she doesn't stop there. Stacey continues her good deeds through her relationships with her friends, family, and even complete strangers. If there is ever a situation where you need someone's help no matter what it is, she will be the first one to throw her hand up to volunteer and will never think twice about it. Stacey always thinks of others before she thinks of herself, whether you have been sick or having medical issues, she is known for bringing a meal to your home after working many hours at the hospital. She has taken in our family as her own and gained three step grandchildren that she loves as her own and always makes a point to be at any event as well as play and show them all the happiness there is in life. If you were to talk to any of her family member's, friends, or even someone that just knows of her they would tell you she is sweet, kind, diligent, and loyal. There is no doubt in my mind that everyone who knows her would agree that she absolutely deserves to be caught in the act and has been deserving of this award for many many years! I am so proud to call her my step mom and pray she is seen for her good deeds through this award.

Sweet, selfless, thoughtful, goes out of her way to help others -even complete strangers. Stacey sounds like a well deserving Caught in the Act winner to me.
