Mardi Gras season has officially arrived in the Ark-La-Tex, and The Festie Besties just announced their 2nd Annual King Cake Crawl. After the massive success of their inaugural event in 2025, they’ve returned with even more treats and a bigger trolley for Saturday, January 24, 2026.

The Sweetest Journey in the 318

This six-stop itinerary takes all the guesswork out of your Saturday. The trolley kicks off at Flying Heart Brewing & Pub in Bossier City, where you’ll start the day with a King Cake Stromboli and even a King Cake Martini. From there, the tour heads to local favorites like Lilah’s Bakery for "King Cake Charcuterie" and Lowder Baking Company for their famous Berry Chantilly version.

The adventure continues at the new Dripp Donuts location and a trip to the Krewe of Gemini’s Mardi Gras Museum. There, you’ll pair local history with slices from Fat Tuesday Sandwich Shop and King Cake Daiquiris from The Noble Savage. The journey wraps up with shopping and more cake at the legendary Tubbs Hardware.

How to Join the Crawl:

The Festie Besties are running two rounds (morning and afternoon), and tickets are $65. That price is a steal considering it covers your trolley ride, samples at every single stop, souvenir beads, and even chances to win prizes during trolley trivia!

Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026

Round 1: 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Round 2: 12:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Tickets: Available on Eventbrite

Space is limited, and since last year sold out fast, you’ll want to grab your squad and book early. This is the perfect way to support our local bakeries and celebrate the spirit of Mardi Gras.
