Whether you are looking for an epic family outing or just want to soak in the high-energy vibes of the district, there is something for every age to enjoy.
The Details: When and Where
The magic begins at 5 PM in the Red River District. Admission is free, making it the perfect opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate America in style.
Free Patriotic Treats for Kids
You’ll want to arrive early if you have little ones in tow! The first 500 kids to arrive will receive a FREE red, white, and blue popsicle, thanks to our friends at Brookshire’s Grocery. It is the ultimate way to cool down while taking in the festivities.
Entertainment & Family Fun
The evening is packed with live performances and activities to keep the energy high:
Live Music: Enjoy patriotic classics and your favorite hits with performances by The Curtis Mills Experience and the Shreveport Regional Jazz Ensemble.
Family Activities: Keep an eye out for face painting, balloon artists, and stilt walkers roaming the district.
Get Moving: Line dancing officially kicks the party off right at 5 PM.
Food & Drink Specials
Local spots in the district are joining the celebration with themed specials:
G-Spot: Offering a signature Red, White & Blue Daiquiri.
Red River Social Club: Serving up patriotic drinks and exclusive food specials throughout the event.
The Grand Finale: Laser Light Show
The highlight of the night arrives at 8:15 PM with a dazzling red, white, and blue laser light show. This high-tech patriotic display is the perfect way to cap off a magical day in Downtown Shreveport.
