Sarah Atkins is only 25, but according to her Mom, Deanna Atkins, "she gets it." At this early age, she's already figured out that it's not "all about me." In fact, Sarah has made it all about others.

While she goes through her hectic work life, she still manages to think of others and to actively pursue ways to help out! And it's because of that giving spirit, it's easy to recognize Sarah Atkins as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Just take a look at Sarah's nomination letter we received from her Mom and we're sure you'll agree, she's certainly not your average 25 year old!

I want to take a proud parent moment and brag about my daughter. Sarah is truly the most selfless hardworking young adult I know. At only 25, she gets it...what it means, to love and respect your family, friends, and community. She loves her job and has worked so hard for the position she holds, but it's demanding. In the midst of her hectic schedule Sarah still finds the time to collect blankets, pillows, gloves, and toiletries for people in need. For the last few years she has gone downtown on Christmas Eve to pass out these items. This past Christmas, she had 60 bundles and was so excited that it got her thinking...I can do more!! So, she recently put together a fundraiser with a local business establishment to raise money for more items. I've always tried to teach my kids to dream big and reach for the stars, there's no doubt in my mind ...Sarah is going to get there.

Sarah Atkins, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Sarah to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
