Three people are behind bars this morning after a lengthy chase and manhunt in south Bossier City. Police caught up with 2 men and a woman who were on the run from officers.

Several agencies joined BCPD in the hunt including Louisiana State Police, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Bossier Deputies. K-9 officers and drones were used in the search for the suspects.

This chase and manhunt was centered around the Preserve Subdivision in south Bossier City.

There were reports of a possible carjacking in Shreveport. The car believed stolen was spotted in south Bossier and that led to a high speed chase. A car the suspects were in was apparently abandoned and two men ran off into the nearby subdivision. Residents were urged to stay indoors and be sure homes were locked as the hunt for the suspects escalated.

Initial reports indicate the chase began on the Sligo Road shortly before 9pm. The car was reportedly stolen by the suspected carjackers somewhere in Shreveport.

The chase ended when the fleeing car crashed on Barksdale Boulevard near Sunflower Road. Two men took off headed toward the Southgate Mobile Home Park. A woman who was with the two men stayed in the car.

The two men were caught in the Preserve Subdivision after an extensive hourlong manhunt. Police got several tips from residents in the area who saw the men running through the area. Drone video helped the K-9 units catch up with the two men on Radbrook Drive. The suspects were taken into custody without incident.

The woman was arrested at the scene of the crash.
