While most of us could never imagine the pain of losing a child, I always admire those who are able to take a tragedy of this sort and turn it into something good.

Such is the case in the family of Dylan Kyle Poche.  It was in early 2016 when Dylan's family got the call no one can ever prepare for.  Their talented 18 year old was gone.  Robbed from their lives forever.

But, in an effort to memorialize this young member of the Northwestern State University fishing team, friends and family of Dylan organized a bass tournament to raise funds for the NSU Fishing Team and tomorrow, Saturday, March 28, that tournament will celebrate it's 10th year.

The 10th Annual Dylan Kyle Poche Bass Tournament will be held on Toledo Bend out of Cypress Bend in Many, Louisiana.  This year, along with raising funds for the NSU Fishing Team, a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Cure San Fillippo Foundation for Lydia Rachal.

Entry fee for this March 28 tournament is $275 per team with $18,000 guaranteed to first place; $6,000 for second place; $3,000 for third place and Big Bass (fee included with each entry) will pay $3,000.

There will be an additional $1,000 paid to the biggest bass weighed in between 9:00 am and 10:00 am and again from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
