And then to use the passion for that job as a platform to teach others to pursue that career and dedication to our country, takes it all to a brand new level.

Well, that's certainly the story of Peyton Pannell. We read about Peyton when his wife, Star, submitted his nomination letter and her words made Peyton an easy choice as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Christopher Pannell is my husband. Peyton as many others and I call him, have been married for almost 5 years and together for almost 7. Through these years He has been an incredible husband, father, son, grandson, and just all around individual. Peyton is a extremely hard worker. He served as an active duty airman for 4 years, then went Air Guard, July 2021. In the air force he works maintenance on f-15 fighter jets. So proud to have been apart of the World Famous Rocketeers (so much so that he got a f-15 with the letters “WFFFR” tattooed on his leg) Every morning putting the uniform on with so much pride. He has always had so much love for his country and loves serving it. But he didn’t stop there, after going guard Peyton also went to school to get his airframe and power plant license, to expand his knowledge on aircrafts, he is now also working at western global maintaining our aircraft so we can travel our country and others as civilians. He has gone to child development centers volunteering his time to show children the importance of aircraft maintenance as well as providing his time to grill lunch for their employees. He’s been to schools educating and recruiting students who share the love he has for his country, hoping one day when the time comes they can wear the uniform with pride. He’s has so much dedication, determination and perseverance. He’s one of the strongest men I know. I’m beyond honored to be called his wife. Peyton is a hero. My Hero.

Peyton Pannell, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Peyton to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
