Panera Bread in Bossier Closed Permanently

Sad news confirmed this week as one of our favorite spots on Airline Drive closes its doors.

The latest COVID-19 casualty was announced this week, as Panera Bread on Airline will not be re-opening their restaurant after our COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. I heard this news a few days ago but at that time, it was just a rumor. This evening, I drove by one of my favorite food stops to see the bad news for myself.

Just six years ago in 2014, Bossier City residents were excited to see the popular chain make it's way to town.

Now, with COVID-19 impacting anyone and everyone, it's the sad reality of businesses simply making business decisions. I'm going to hold out hope that down the line, we see Panera Bread back on Airline Drive.
