Now more than ever, folks are in need of a helping hand when it comes to purchasing school supplies for their kids' return to school. It hard enough sometimes to fill that entire school supply list, but I can't imagine the stress some parents are under this year when it comes to back to school as a result of the pandemic. That's where we come in as a community. Some of us have been blessed to be able to work through the lockdown while others haven't been as lucky. That's why I'm urging you to help the Bossier Chamber of Commerce 'Pack the Bus!'

Right now, members of the chamber are collecting school supplies at their place of business for school-aged children in Bossier Parish. Those supplies will all be dropped off when the chamber and it's partners 'Pack the Bus,' on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, from 11 am - 1 pm. The bus will be located at the Bossier Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 710 Benton Road in Bossier City.

The theme of this school year will literally be 'change' and we can BE THE CHANGE. Let's help Bossier Schools and their students make sure they have every tool they need to be successful.
