Caught in the Act - Bonnie Stewart

Bonnie's daughter, Amy, wrote to nominate her Mom and you can actually feel the love and admiration she has for this obviously incredible woman!

And it's Bonnie's commitment to serving others that made her an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Just look at that letter and you'll understand why!

I am writing to tell you about my incredible mother, Bonnie Stewart. She has been a true role model in my life, embodying the virtues of hard work, selflessness, and love every day. And I don't feel she is recognized for all she does often enough. I'd like to remind her just how much everything she does for all in her life is truly noticed and appreciated. As the mother of four grown children, my mom dedicated herself to raising us, ensuring we had not only what we needed but often the extra things we wanted. Doing her best to always protect us and guide us. She also raised three grandchildren, giving them the same love and guidance she gave to us. Throughout it all, she worked tirelessly, often juggling two jobs to make sure we had the best life possible. Despite her exhausting schedule, she never once complained. Even in her retirement, she continues to work full-time, always striving to provide for her family and others. I often find myself in awe of my mom’s incredible energy and work ethic. I only wish I had even half the energy she possesses! She has taught me what it means to be resilient, to love unconditionally, and to give of yourself without hesitation. My parents have been married for 47 years, and their partnership has been a shining example of commitment, love, and support. Their marriage is the foundation upon which our family was built, and my mother has been the steady, loving force that has held everything together. My mother is the most giving, caring and kind person I know. Her kindness and generosity have touched the lives of everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her. I have never met anyone who came across her path and didn’t walk away with admiration and affection for her. She is, without a doubt, the best example of what it means to be a good parent and a good person. I hope her story can inspire others, just as she has inspired me and so many others throughout the years. I am beyond grateful and blessed to still have her here with me and so thankful she is my mother. Sincerely Amy
