The Shreveport Mudbugs are back on home ice this weekend with games both Friday and Saturday at George's Pond in Hirsch Coliseum at 7:11 pm. Cheer on the 'Bugs as they take on the Lone Star Brahmas and don't forget to celebrate your favorite Harry Potter character Friday for Wizard Night! Bring unopened packages of socks and toss them on the ice when the Mudbugs score their first goal. The socks will be collected and donated to The Hub Urban Ministries.
Tuff Hedeman is heading back to Bossier City with some of the 'tuffest' bull riders in the country Saturday night with special guest Stoney LaRue performing after the event. Showtime is 8 pm at the CenturyLink Center and tickets start at just $25.
The madness continues this weekend with the lawyers kicking everything off Friday night with the Krewe of Justinian Grand Bal XXV 'Run for the Roses' at the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome. Then Saturday, the Krewe of Nemesis Springhill will host their second ever Grand Bal in Springhill with 'Nemesis Goes to Neverland', while the Krewe of Demeter will have Mansfield hopping at the David Means 4-H Center.
