New Movies Opening Friday August 9th: Planes and Elysium (Video)

There are two new movies opening tomorrow. The is from the people who brought us “Cars”. “Planes” is a Disney movie perfect for the kids. The other is a sci-fi/ action flick starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster. Don’t forget we also had two new movies open earlier this week as well which were “We’re the Millers” and “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”.

Planes (PG)

This action-packed 3D animated comedy is about a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer, Dusty. Dusty’s courage is put to the test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.

Elysium - R

Set about 150 years in the future, humanity is bitterly divided between two classes of people: The ultrarich live aboard a luxurious space station called Elysium, and the rest live in Earth's ruins. Max (Matt Damon) sets out on a dangerous mission that could bring equality to all.
