All the "Shraknado" movies are getting the ax, and we can't say we are sad to see them go.

There are a few new movies opening this weekend. The "Dolphin Tale" sequel is up against the the new thriller "No Good Deed" and the James Gandolfini movie "The Drop".

This weekend is actually pretty boring when it comes to new movies. Especially considering it’s a holiday weekend. The Pierce Brosnan spy thriller "The November Man" is taking on the horror movie "As Above So Below" .

Three new movies hit theaters this  weekend—a comic book sequel/ prequel, a teen tearjerker and an inspiring high-school football tale. "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" is up against the teen drama "If I Stay" and the high school football movie "When the Game Stands Tall".

The third go-around for the aging-mercenary superteam, plus the latest young-adult novel trying to become a blockbuster and a light comedy you and your buddy probably thought of back in college.

Megan Fox stars in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reboot of the classic cartoon from the 80’s. If you choose forgo seeing what is most likely going to be one of the biggest movies of the summer your other options are the disaster movie "Into the Storm", the fifth "Step Up" dance flick, and "The Hundred Foot Journey".

This week, we get the latest Marvel Studios expansion of the 'Avengers' universe, plus a biopic on the Hardest-Working Man in Show Business.

The box office gets a jolt this week, with a pair of action thrillers making their debuts, plus an easygoing family comedy to put a smile on your face.

There’s only one new movie opening this weekend. Reviews for the sequel to “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” have ranged from the best sequel ever to don’t waste your money. In the end it’s up to you whether to spend the $9+ to see the movie.

“Jersey Boys", the Clint Eastwood movie about the 1960s group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is out this weekend. The movie which was adapted from the Broadway musical is up against romantic comedy "Think Like a Man Too".
