Meet Robin Alderman – This Week’s Recipient of Caught in the Act Award

On occasion, mother in law's have rightly received a bad reputation, but not in the case of Robin Alderman. She's this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award, and of all the people to nominate her, it was her own daughter-in-law, Savana Alderman.

And it was obvious to us that Savana is a huge fan of her mother in law! And one glance at the letter Savana sent to us nominating Robin for this auspicious award will quickly make you a fan of Robin's as well.

Robin is such a hard working person, I am blessed to call her my Mother in Law. Most of the time you hear horror stories about mother in laws and I can say God blessed me extremely. She works multiple jobs to keep herself busy. From a bus driver, church secretary, part time at a embroidery shop, and bakes cakes on the side for little to no money. She is also our Wednesday night cook at church! She works so hard and will always be there to help someone in need and not ask for anything in return. She is an asset to our church and our community! She has gone through so much in the past few years. She lost her husband (my father in law) to colon cancer. He was the preacher at Belle Park Baptist Church and his last message was Love God Love People and that's exactly what she does to live out his legacy! They had a love story that was truly amazing! I think she deserves this award because of her good heart and constant need to help everyone she can!

Robin Alderman, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
