Bossier officials have issued mandatory evacuations to several neighborhoods and subdivisions in the parish due to flooding or potential flooding.

They encourage everyone in the proximity of Red Chute Bayou, especially Dogwood South, to be aware of the rising waters. The evacuation orders are in place for the following subdivisions in anticipation of an additional eight inches or more of rain forecast by the National Weather Service:

Victorian Pointe
Carriage Oaks
Brookhaven
Stockwell Place
Lafayette Park
Stonebridge
Tiburon
*Dogwood
Richmond Cove

Parish officials say displaced residents can find shelter at the Bossier Civic Center at 620 Benton Road. The American Red Cross is assisting with that shelter.
