Major Gas Leak In Shreveport Has Traffic Shut Down

Shreveport police have just closed the intersection of Greenwood Road and Hearne Avenue by Willis Knighton North Hospital as a major gas leak has been confirmed.

A spokesperson for Willis Knighton hospital says they have been told a contractor for Centerpoint was working underground on 6" line when it ruptured.

No evacuations have been ordered.
