Congratulations Luke Bryan! Luke received a nice surprise last night while partying and performing for 8,000+ of his closest friends in his home state of Georgia--a plaque for his new album being certified Gold! Luke's Farm Tour takes him back to his country boy roots. Watch as they haul those huge trucks loaded with equipment down muddy roads for his concert.

During last night’s “Farm Tour” show in Statesboro, GA, Luke Bryan was surprised in front of a crowd of over 8,000 fans with a plaque signifying that his current album tailgates & tanlines has been certified Gold® by the RIAA for sales of 500,000.  He also received a plaque for his first Platinum® single— the album’s lead smash hit “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” which Luke co-wrote with fellow Georgian Dallas Davidson.

Luke's Farm Tour wraps up tonight in Carrollton, Georgia. I would LOVE if every Country concert was just like Luke's Farm Tour: good people who get together outdoors for some great music. For some of these small towns Luke's Farm Tour is the biggest event they've had in a while, if ever.
